Flagstaff Skies Pt. 2

As the seasons change, so do the skies here in Flagstaff. Whether is is a sunrise, sunset, or even during the middle of the day, the skies here never disappoint. I take a look at my camera roll and all I see is picture after picture of these beautiful skies. I don't want to be obnoxious and post sky pictures all the time, but sometimes I cannot resist.

Neighborhood Walks

I have grown to love taking walks around our new neighborhood. I had been so used to considering my  'walks' as the walks I would take from my on-campus housing to my classes. Moving off-campus and being able to be in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by all types of people has really made me feel so much better. Being able to enjoy my privacy, and not constantly having noise from outside has been the nicest by far. This new house that I am in has made me feel so comfortable, and I am so lucky to share it with my two best friends. Not to mention we have incredible, beautiful green trees all over! And trails that take you to beautiful places!

Rainy Days // Green Juice

In flagstaff the weather can be pretty unpredictable. One minute the sun is shining the next it is pouring rain. But, you grow to love it here. To feel awake and more energetic on a gloomy day, a green juice is just what you need! Juice up some: Kale, cucumber, pineapple, and apples and you've got yourself a wonderful, sweet tasting juice.

Flagstaff Skies

It's no doubt that I am very fortunate to go to school in such a beautiful place. Flagstaff has won a piece of my heart. These cotton candy skies never get old, and they seem to get even more beautiful every time!

How do you Like Your Coffee?

This was a picture that I took a while back after seeing a similar picture on Pinterest. It inspired me to create one of my own, showing how I like my coffee. It was a lot of fun to shoot although I did struggle a bit with my white balance. Overall, I am happy with the turn out.

I like my coffee with a splenda and creamer, how do you like yours?

A Paivikan Summer

This summer I had the amazing opportunity to work at a summer camp that was truly inspiring.
Camp Paivika is a summer camp for people with disabilities. It gives campers the opportunity to have new experiences, and make friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Camp Paivika: Looking beyond disabilities, focusing on capabilities, and expanding possibilities. Everyone that worked at camp was kind, inspiring and some of the greatest people I have ever met. I will miss camp so much this year, and hopefully will be able to go back next summer to enjoy another summer with amazing staff and even more amazing campers.

Fortune Cookie

Getting this fortune brought a smile to my face. I am very excited and hopeful for my future. Hopeful to meet new people with experiences and stories, hopeful to be able to travel and experience things on my own so I can then be the one to tell stories as well.

I believe that each and every person has the potential to impact your life in some way.
